Kilo by Ghostface Killah, this song is about cocaine and dealing cocaine. I like this song because of Ghost's smooth flow and his dope rhymes. I also really like the chorus, it has a girls voice along with Ghost's voice. I also like that he talks about how once you got the cocaine you got the girls, the money and basically the world.
Train with no Love by Andre Nickatina, this is another song about cocaine but with a different message. I love this song because it has the storey of Nickatina's life and how he grew up with his struggle of the game, friends and surviving the struggle. He talks about how he use to be in the dope game with his friend while he was trying to come up and be a rapper. It goes from him being on top of the world then being caught by the cops and being betrayed by his friend. After his jail sentence he go out of the dope game and became one of the Bay Area's greatest rappers.
I Feel Like Dying by Lil Wayne, this song is also about drugs but about what happens when they are all gone. Wayne says when all the drugs are gone, that he feels like dying. When this song came out i felt that Wayne was at the top of his career even though that his song wasn't released on a CD it was an excellent mixtape song and is part of the reason he is so popular today.
Smoke Two Joints by Sublime, this song is obviously about smoking weed. This isn't an original song though, this is a remake of Chris Kay and Michael Kay's song. They originally preformed the song in a reggae style. Sublime is under he genres of ska punk, reggae, rock and hip hop so i feel they did the song complete justice. I like the sublime version of the song better than any other version I've ever heard.
Freaky Tales by Too $hort, This song is a sex song that almost 10 minuets long. Too $hort is a pimp from Oakland that has made 17 albums all about girls. This song is about his "freaky tales" only 1/3 of his girls. I say 1/3 because there is part 2 and 3 to this song. I don't know how he fooled around with all these girls but he did. I like this song not only because I like to heard about guys fooling around with girl but because his rhymes are hella good and sound so smooth when he says them.

study tip #2
When I am studying, I like to study with another person. Preferably someone who is smarter than me, or at least smarter than me in the topic at hand. The reason I like to study with an other person is because the help me stay on topic, help me understand specifics I do not understand, and it's a lot less boring than being by myself. And you know, two minds are better than one.

Gooogle Me
So I googled myself and as I suspected I didn't show up but my uncle with the same name as me showed up. He's not famous or anything, it was just his myspace. Also, a couple of facebook's showed up from Los Angles but not mine. There is also an artist with the same name as me and he has his own website with his paintings and biography. I was actually kind of hoping that some information would of showed up because it would of been pretty cool but i was expecting not to find anything on me at all which is what happened.

Study tip
When i am studying i like to first of all work with someone but also read over what i read two times. As I'm reading the text the second time i try and relate it to something that i already know. For example, if i am trying to remember and word for say a vocabulary test i will try and relate the word with another word that has a similar definition. And if i can't relate it to anything i try and use it in regular conversation so that i can remember how to use it.
Music memory
Ever since I can remember I've loved to listen to music. When i was younger i remember telling people that i only listen to rap and r&b but as i got older the genre of music i like to listen to has grown immensely. The older i get the more i learn to appreciate people, ideas, and music more than i did before. I remember when i was about in the third grade i really liked n sync and boys bands like that, for what reason i still do not understand. But you can't blame me because who didn't like them? I also always did and always will love oldies like The Temptations and The Floaters. I really like that kind of music because of the male lead singers that hit ridiculous high notes.
As i got older i really got into rap, more gangster rap than anything. I also when through a "thug" stage in my life where i though i was the shit and i felt like i was a "thug". I was also living with my uncle at the time and that is all he listens to. I went through a stage where i didn't respect anyone who listened to music like country, techno or basically anything that wasn't about killing, stealing, girls, or making money. And some time around the eighth grade i really got into Mac Dre, a bay area rapper that was also killed when i was in the eighth grade. He has been rapping since my dad was in high school so there was tons of music for me to discover by him. His raps are so complex and his rhymes are the best in the bay to me.
Now as i think about my four years in high school, my perception of music, people and life has changed drastically. My freshman year i only listen to bay area rap which is all about the same thing and now that i think about it all sound pretty similar. There isn't really any talent being demonstrated. In high school is also where i met my best friend who really broadened my horizon on music. He introduced me to a new kind of rap, a rap with a per pose and a meaning to it. These rappers weren't talking about making money or making girls shack their ass, they were talking about issues that needed to be addressed and how people need help or how people need to better themselves. He also introduced me to Rock songs and alternative punk songs that i love to listen to now. i listen to songs that i would never give a chance to listen to in the eighth grade. I guess its a part of life to do a complete 180 on how i live my life.
The songs i use to listen to were mostly about hatred and had a negative message and feeling to it. Now i only like to listen to songs that make me feel good and have a nice poppy beat to it. I also really love female rock or alternative singer because of the sex appeal. I love it when a girl can sing rock songs and hit the high notes and then come back down to a soft sexy voice. Thw song that i"m listening to right now, ring my bell by blondie, is a good example of a great femiale singer but she doesn't sing rock songs, its more disco. And now i will listen to aaaaaaaaalmost every grenre of music that is in english excluding country. For some reason i only like johnny cash and no other country singer.
